Has anyone tried or now use Dannon Light & Fit Carb & Sugar Control vanilla yogurt: 60 calories, 3 g carbs, 2 g sugar. ?
If not, are you using another low carb/sugar yogurt that has 3 g carbs and 2 g sugar?

I haven't eaten this but the 3 grams carbs seems good to me! It should be a good source of calcium, too, along with probiotics.

No, there is no sleep/insomnia forum at HealingWell. I'm sorry if you're having trouble sleeping. As we get older, I think this does become more of a problem though. Medications, caffeine, alcohol all can interfere with our sleep. And stress, too. Temperature, mattresses, noise. Gosh. It seems everything. You might want to talk this over with your doctor the next time you have an appointment.

Thanks Lannie. Was just wondering if anyone else was using one of the low carb, low sugar yogurts? I've heard there were some available but don't know their names.
Some folks have told me they are finding it harder and harder to find this Dannon Low carb/sugar yogurt and that is why I was wondering if there was one I could use in it's place (with 3 g carbs and 2 g sugar) if I too couldn't find it any longer.
Maybe someone who is using another low carb/sugar yogurt will be able to see this post and pass on their info to me.

One thing to consider is that this yogurt you're eating comes in 4 oz. cups, so even if that same yogurt is discontinued, you might be able to find another one in a larger cup, like 8 oz., and then eat only half of the cup and you would still be having the same thing. That is, if it's 8 ounces and 6 gr. carbs. It would come out to the same.

If you use a yogurt which has been sweeten without sugar they are using an artificial sweetener. Read the label and investigate what these ingredients are. Acesulfame Potassium is and artificial sweetener which has been linked to cancer. If I were to choose a yogart which is sweat I would choose one which has been sweeten with stevia. It is a nature sweetener with zero calories. Stonyfield Farm's Organic Fat Free Fruits on the Bottom Strawberry appears to be one. I am not a big fan of sugar or artificial sweeteners but stevia comes from a plant and is most natural form of sweetener I can find. I use it in my tea everyday and very happy with it.

There are concerns about ALL artificial sweeteners but unless a person is consuming huge amounts in all kinds of food, I don't think there is a worry about any of them. Consuming large amounts of meat? Not good for anyone. Consuming large amounts of alcohol? Not good for anyone. Consuming large amounts of carbs? Not good for anyone - and, as diabetics, even moderate amounts of sugar and other carbs do more harm to us on a daily basis.

eat2bwell, you don't have diabetes. Please stop.
