Oh Turtle! What's with the pain? Neuropathy or what? I hope you find out what's going on! And sorry about the computer. I don't think I could use my phone for posting here because the screen is so small and enlarging the page and signing in and posting would take forever!

Thinking about you. Hope the heat isn't too bad where you are, too!

Keep an even keel and just deal with whatever comes up. I hope your doctors get these diagnoses right. Then, therapy.

Hi Turtle! So, you are having carpal tunnel surgery on the arms? I know there are many people who have gotten relief from that and I really hope this works for you! This kind of pain will keep your blood sugar high so that will help! Keep us updated about the legs, too. I'm sorry you're going through this but I'm glad you've got some doctors working for you! Stay strong, Turtle!

That's not particularly bad news if the doctor says it's "onset". As far as I know, diabetic neuropathy can be contained by keeping blood sugar normal, so do what you can to keep the readings down to normal as much as you can! In other cases of neuropathy, I've read that activities like walking can regenerate nerve endings but I don't know if it works with diabetics. I do know that walking helps increase blood flow and they keeps the legs and feet healthy. When neuropathy is really advanced walking can be painful so your goal should be not to get to that point.

Best wishes for you, Turtle! Glad you posted. I hope all is going well for you otherwise, too!
