Er doc last week said sciatica, didn't bother to listen to all my symptoms. I took what he gave me hoping he was correct and it would help. Nope! Only seemed to get worse.
So i made my appointment with my Dr and he said as i thought he would it was not sciatica. Good news it is not my kidneys or pancreas! Whew! Somehow either when bending over or turning i strained my muscles or tendon or both. He says that unlike what er dr said the tingling and numbing in toes is not related that if it was sciatica the numbing and tingling would be in my heel. He says it could be mild neuropathy in my toes but to see the foot Dr.
The gabapentin he gave me for my back could help my toes. I have to take it 3 times a day. Ibuprofen 800 2 to 3 times a day , and a muscle relaxer at night at least for the next 7 days. Hopefully that helps it.
I love my Dr. He was happy about my sugars and weight loss. Even though i wasnt there for my sugars he asked how i am doing. He listens to me and takes the time to really look at what is wrong. I am confident right now he is right. If not better in 2 weeks ill go back.
