Wine, unless it's fortified wine, should have no effect on raising blood sugar although white or rose might a little. The drier the wine, the less it will raise blood sugar. I don't know about
scotch or whiskey. Mixed drinks can raise it if there is sugar in the mixture and most mixed drinks have it. Straight gin or vodka, for example, should not raise blood sugar. Beer is ify. You have to check the carb content and it's really an individual response to different kinds of beer, also the amount.
