Welcome back, worriedgirl! I'm sorry for the increase in your blood sugar and other issues. I hope you can keep on following this plan and see better results. Please remember that if you lose weight and/or your blood sugar readings get lower because of the eating plan that your medications may need to be re-evaluated.
As I've described to you before, I have been eating very low carb for over 10 years but I don't count carbs because I don't eat them other than what is found in vegetables. However, I don't eat potatoes at all and only slivers of carrots in salads. I eat lots of vegetables and greens and some berries. I eat a piece of meat (or chicken, etc.) at dinner but my diet isn't high fat.
