Good morning! That's pretty good if you can keep your blood sugar from going over 140. That is elevated but not too critical. However (and you know I'm not a doctor, no one is here...), if your blood sugar had be averaging much higher over these years since 1976 of course that would have been a concern for certain organ damage but other factors also are involved, like activity, diet, genetics, etc.

I'm sure that I should have been diagnosed years earlier when I was 'borderline'. Being borderline can also create problems.
