Welcome back, Dolphin! I remember you posted years ago. It's distressing that you haven't had any improvement or support. When that's the case, I would suggest looking for another doctor who is more pro-active and can help you improve your blood sugar results. I think you were on a couple of different diabetes medications at different times.

If you are type 2, I think you can get a better handle on controlling your blood sugar as long as you have an eating plan that will not contribute to the high blood sugar.

Can you post what you're eating? I'm glad you posted.

Ok, now in order to understand what's happening. You have to test your blood sugar just before you eat and then about 2 hours after you eat. This will tell you how many points the food you ate makes your blood sugar rise.

Remember: any kind of bread or pasta will cause your blood sugar to rise high.

Toast, breads, carbs, be mindful. Some are much better than others.
Pasta!!!!! Seems you eat not much, and this can play a role too.
Especially if hypos happen then overload.
(not saying you)
Carbs, some are needed in exercise, as calories will get burnt, and you will need carbs.
Yes, Lanie is correct on how your insulin is administered.
My wisdom is to seek an endocrinologist. HT

To lose weight you need to eat more good stuff. Especially within a exercise regime. HT
