As you know I am new to pumping.  I just changed my infusion site and noticed I have a little bump where the cannula was. (pea size)  It isn't red, sore, warm or anything.  What is it?  Is it insulin under my skin?  How long until it goes away.  I haven't noticed it before.

Wow AMM, I have no knowledge about pumps... Maybe a quick call to the nurse at your doctor's office is in order?

I have a confession to make.  The bump went away and I now know what caused it.  Please only laugh a moderate amount at me.  It was the imprint left by the infusion set!

No laughing here... That pump is a direct open line into your body and you are smart to be aware and alert to it's goings on. Glad you figured it out.
