Hi there,
Im not a 100% sure whether you are looking for me to answer a specific question or not so if I miss the point, please tell me.
This sounds like something that a neuro should be looking at. My immediate unprofessional opinion is that it sounds like a sz caused by a viral infection (Hence the sweats & fluctuations in temp). Have they done bloodwork to confirm or rule out infection? Have they given you meds to come home with? It sounds like they dealt with the immediate problem and didnt much care about the long term answer to be honest.
Everyone has a guardian angel. They help pick you up when you fall, comfort you through your times of need and help you appreciate the times when things are going well.
