HI Gonny, you will find many people here who really understand and are more than willing to listen and talk to you! I am so sorry you had a seizure. Some people have just one and then will not have another. It is still important to have tests to see if this is likely for you. EEG, MRI, are two of the first ones usually done.

Have you been seen by a neurologist yet?

I wish you well. It really helps to have people to talk to and you have that here.....hang in there...

Hi Gonny,
Welcome...we can all relate to the fear you experience with your first seizure and there are a million questions that run thru your mind. If you haven't already you should see a neurologist right away for an eval. and work up. Ask lots of questions...even start making a list now before your first visit, sometimes this helps so you don't freeze up when you do see the neurologist. Feel free to know the saying "Been there done that.".......well, most of us have and we're here to help!

Hello Gonny,
I'm sorry to hear you've experienced your first seizure. Have you seen a neurologist about it? I myself had my first seizure at the age of 7 but didn't have another one till age 13 and wasn't diagnosed till 15, i'm now 19. How old are you? I hate to say this, but is normal to be worried and scared. I wake up every morning worried I'm going to have a seizure, then I take my meds and the worry usually goes away. Do you remember any warning before your seizure? I think that's part of the reason why I'm able to not worry about having a seizure all the time, because I get a warning right before. Well, I hope you can share your story with us here at the forum, we are always here to help others! also, you can e-mail me if you'd like! :) ~Jessica

HI Gonny! I hope you are feeling better. I was so scared after my tonic clonic this summer. Hang in there. IT is scary for sure, but things will get better. Hope to hear from you soon & take care. Welcome to the forum. Tracy
