For the past couple of months ive been getting these dizzy spells and double vision. Iv'e had clonic tonic seizures since I was 9 im 24 now and my neruologist thinks its a seizure. It starts off with pressure in my eyes and nose. Sometimes I will get an ear ache. It can be very mild and im able to walk fine. I know whats going on around me, I can talk fine. And everybody says I look ok. Sometimes if I move my head or walk around enough it helps it go away. Recently I had an episode I was so dizzy I felt sick and was constanly vomiting. this has happen before but doesnt haqppen very often. My mom too me to the er I was so tired from vomiting and the dizziness I couldnt even walk they gave me zofran for the vomiting and valium for the dizziness. All my blood work was normal. They did a mri which was normal and I recently had an eeg and a cat scan which was normal. My family doctor thinks its a inner ear infection(some type of vertigo).

Another thing is about 1 to 2 days after an episode like that happens I will briefly wake up in the middle of the night and my stomach will drop like im on a rollercoaster and I feel like I was just spun around. I'm on meclezine as needed for the dizzness and lamictal and zonagram for seizures scince this has happen ive had bad anixety and have been taken klonopin as needed. Any thoughts???

Hi ummy1squash, I too take lamictal, zonegran, and klonopin. Have you missed any of your doses during the day? I had brain surgery in 2002 for my complex partial seizures and have been seizure free since. But have recently been having these crazy shocking like feelings and weird feeling in my stomach and I'm a little concerned. I'm praying that it is all related to my migraines and not some part of a seizure! I've never had trouble with my vision or walking. I've had this happen a few times at night also. I see my neurologist in Oct. almost dreading what I might hear! I haven't said anything to anyone in the family, I don't want them to worry.

Sometimes if you miss your meds it will mess you up. I don't want to take the zonegran any longer because it's not helping with my migraines, and I only take the klonopin (I take generic) to help with sleep. What is your dosage of lamictal? I take 200 mg in the morning and 200 at night. I lowered for a while but then the doctor upped it again, he thought it might help with my migraines but it hasn't.

Best of luck!
