I was diagnosed with Epilepsy in February after having a Grand Mal seizure at work.  I have since been having complex partial seizures at least up until a month and a half ago.  I am hoping we finally have the meds corrected.  I do have one concern.  I was doing good until today.  Today my head has been kinda woozy, you know lightheaded.  I am on an antibiotic for an infection that I have on my foot.  The doctor that put me on the antibiotic knows I have epilepsy, so I would hope that he took that into consideration.  I guess my question is, should there be concern with this in your opinion.  Sometimes I feel like people who don't have epilepsy don't understand or think I am trying to make too much out of something they think is not important.  I think it is important because I don't want to end up having another seizure!!!  Thanks in advance for your input :)

Yes, I would call the doctor, too. Sometimes fighting an infection can make you feel woozy, but so many things can as well. I would talk to the doctor who is treating the infection.

I also ask the pharmacist to check when we are given a new medication to make sure it agrees with the AED my kids take. Helps to have more than one opinion on that sometimes...

Hoping you can start feeling better soon! Sorry to hear about the foot and not feeling well today!
