Hi Everyone,
I had my aneurysm five years ago.  I am still recovering from that.  Shortly after that, I began having excruciating headaches followed by seizures.  I haven't gone through depression ~ that I know of.  Remeber, my memory is not so good.  My family and long-lived friends are still with me.  I'm on Topamax for both the headaches and the seizures.  We're still trying to get the right dosage.  At least, we have recently moved it to the evening.  That eliminates the dizzinesses and drowziness during the day.  I'm definately not going through medapause at the age of 56.  However, sometimes I believe that Topamax is soothing me so much that the medication actually causes my seizures.  The episores are so mild.  I sit quietly in a chair, stare ahead for many moments conscious of everything going on around me, then I lose consciousness for about two minutes, then I come out of it.  Has anyone experienced this before?  Thanks for listening.

Hey 1968, welcome to healing well... Have you talked to your neuro about all this? How often do you have the seizures? Hang in there, and I hope we keep hearing from ya!

When I first started having seizures I wasn't on any medication. Since then, my neurologist and I have discussed the Topamax and it's reaction on me. Just wondering if anybody else has been so comfortable on that medication before.
