Hi, I posted a while ago talkign about my issues, and I just wanted to thank everyone for their replies..
The specialisht daignosed me as having classic 6/12 complex partial siezures(or something like that). From my eeg the spcialist said I only have occasional sharp waves originating from my temporal lobe.
I was prescribed to take only 400mg of carbamazepine per day..
This is a low dose, But I have not had any complex partial seizures for two months which looks promising.. I think i almost oocassionally start to feel the onset of my seizure, but then it stops...  Even though Im on a low dose I have been more easily irritated, and having some mood swings...
has anyone have any experience on this or any feedback would be great..

what kinds of questions do you have?  do some research, then ask your doctor what you don't understand.

Hi Sean,
I too take Tegretol. I take 800mg morning and night. I also suffer the same irritability you talk about but not all the time. It comes and goes. I never thought about it being the meds though. Thanks for your insight on that. If you start to feel the onset of a seizure but it stops, then it sounds like your meds are doing JUST enough to keep you above water. Perhaps talking about increasig your dose with your doctor would be a good idea.
I hope this helps

I have  what you are describing.  That is a good thing because if you start to have a seizure you will be in a safe place.
