After growing up with E and learning that when I had a seizure was just life.
I'm finally getting some control.

I had Brainsurgery in 1982 know control my husband had it 1972 hasn't had a seizure since. He just takes Tranxene still for the auras he has.
I took 19 different AEDs finally found something to help me with Lyrica.

The VNS also comes in quite handy and I got my 3rd last month.
I'll never be totally controlled I don't believe.
I've had seizures to long .
The docs have all told me I was a hard case.

Hi there and Welcome to HealingWell,

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I hope that it will show people that there is life with epilepsy and that it is not something that you should allow to control your life.

Im glad that you have managed to get some control over your epilepsy and your story is an inspiration to us all
