I have the very simular problems but they labeled mine as Psychgenic, I don't know that I really agree with that dx. I have'nt had one sine july, and before that it was 8 months before when I had the last eppisode. My problem is that they can last for hours, and stuff like Ativan doesn't always help. I don't usually loose my bladder, eiter part of why they say they're psychogenic. I too had to be intubated twice and wake up days later having no idea what is going on. Its very scarry ,and I hope they find an answer for you soon.
best to you,

Wow, sorry to hear your story.  I don't understand why they are calling these seizures psychogenic?  Is it because all of your tests are normal?  All of my tests are normal, they have been for 9 years, in the beginning they thought I didn't need meds either.  Then I got seizures again and they put me on meds.
I'm not a doctor, so I can't say what sort of disorder you have or anything.  But it seems like you have generalized tonic clonic.  If you had an aura it would be focal (or partial) tonic clonic.  At least this is what my doctor said to me.
I would get a second opinion, at a completely different hospital that has an epilepsy clinic.  Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, and Mayo clinic are all a few hospitals that offer those types of services.
Keep us posted!

Have they done the 3 or 4 day EEG on you when they have had you in the hospital?  This is where you are wired and videoed 24-7.  If they had, they would have caught the seizure that you didn't tell them about and they could have seen what was going on.

What exactly are they doing for you when they keep you in the hospital?

Take care!
