Hi, Bluepearl, and welcome!  (I can't remember if I welcomed you before.  Have had a lot of newbies and the fog has arrived!)  Anyway, I do have that, but only occasionally.  I take ibuprofen for that and it helps.  If you decide to do that, be sure to take it with food.

Hi Bluepearl and welcome. My ribs are a mess also, all the way around my body. I have the under arm pain and can feel the ribcage behind my breast is sore. I had to wear a bra for a couple of days cause I was on the go a lot. It was like torture. It feels like my whole ribcage is being squeezed.
Lidoderm patches helps a small area but you can't put them clear around you. They are 4x6 patches with lidoderm in them. You need a rx for them. They do work great for ribs since they are so close to the skin. You use them 12 hrs on and 12 hrs off. Moist heat helps also in form of moist heat heating pad or rice bags you pop in the microwave. Some have had some luck with topical creams.
Tootie has a thread on a topical cream she is trying and others have said what they use in that line for relief. I may try something different myself besides Capzasin.HP which burns my skin. Just sitting here typing with my back against the soft couch is painful.
I have an invisable man giving me one heck of a hug. tongue
luv and hugs

I don't know if you saw Tootie's thread or not, but she said that her cream really works. Isn't that wonderful???!!!

Have a great day you all.
