A while back I posted a quesion re. shoe inserts for my very touchy feet.  I'm happy to say I found some insoles which are WONDERFUL.  This weekend for the first time in a long while I walked around in a store.
The insoles I found are Memory Foam Insoles from Dream Products.  ( They cost $12.97 a pair.  Please note they are THICK, so I can only wear them presently with my Crocs.  Hope this info helps someone else, too.  A paper catalog is available--lots of neat stuff.
Next question:  I live in Minnesota, so in a couple months I'll be bringing out the warm clothes and putting away the cool stuff, including the Crocs.  Now I need to find a very lightweight, flexible but supportive shoe which is deep enough for these thick insoles.  Does anyone have any ideas on this?  Thanks and blessings in advance!

I live in Maine- so I understand the need to transition footwear in the winter! I know we have some birkenstock lovers here....they make sandals- and clogs too! these may work. also, I wear Danskos- they are not exactly light weight, but they are deep, and GREAT for your back/ posture.

I am in MN as well, and I am looking forward to my first MN autumn and winter. I am interested in trying out these insoles, my feet cause so much pain for my hips and lower back, when I try and get out and walk around to explore my new world. Today I am limping around because yesterday I made about 4 stops where I walked and shopped. Thanks for the info!

Why pack the crocs up? Just buy darker colors for the fall and wear socks! Course I understand you're problem in the winter snow! Thanks for the heads up on the insoles!
