i noticed that you take celexa and i was wondering if it helps at all with your pain? my doc put me on cymbalta but my insurance won't pay for it and she wants to try me on celexa.....doesn't make much since to me to move from a SNRI to a SSRI, but maybe it will help....just wondered what your experience is.....thanks :-)

I was on celexa and amitriptyline when the pain started so I don't know if the celexa helps but I do know the amitriptyline does. I was put on them for anxiety. I know I've been on amitriptyline for 10 yrs but I can't remember how long I've been on celexa.
That doesn't make sense to me either trading celexa for cymbalta since they are two different classes of drugs. Celexa will help with serotonin level if that is what they are going for.
