I just posted a few questions about Tramadol.  I see that it can be purchased online.  Is this legal?  Has anyone purchased it online?  I need something for pain and the doctors so far are reluctant to prescribe pain meds.  Thanks again!

Waterbaby, I would never buy meds online. You have no idea what you are getting and it's not worth the risk of getting sicker. I know your getting desperate for help with the pain so you can go back to work and I can understand that. I really don't know if it is legal or not, I've never talked to anyone that has bought them online.
Tramadol may help me some with moderate pain but if I'm in a bad flare it doesn't seem to touch the pain. Some swear by it,  as you know we are all different in how we react to meds.
Have you talked to your doc about tramadol??? He may be more willing to rx it than narcotics. You could ask him if there is any alternative to narcotics and see if he brings it up and if not tell him you have heard tramadol is rxd for fibro and see what he says.
Have you ever heard of a TENS unit??? It interrupts the pain signals to the brain through electrodes. Mine uses a 9V battery and you can stick it in your pocket. I love mine and you can buy them for $50.00 online.
I know it is very frustrating to have pain and feel so helpless. You might go to the ER and see if you could get help. It would at least show your doc how much pain your in. Sometimes we have to scream to be heard.
Good luck
luv and hugs
