Oh Lee Ann, I am right there with you. My thumb, index and middle finger on my right hand, the tips of them, are completely numb. I type for a living and this is making things very difficult. This just started a few weeks ago. I was thinking that maybe I have Carpal Tunnel??? Then I read something, don't remember where, that said people with FM have something that causes numbness in their fingers, so I really don't know. I'm not much help to you, but wanted you to know you are not alone. It also is making it very difficult for me to put in my contact lenses in the morning, or get them out of the case. :(

Hi Lee Ann,

I had worked as a teller for many years and my fingers and wrists started going numb and it got to the point where I could hardly work or tie my shoes. I would drop everything. I went to physical therapy and wore wrist protectors for a year. Finally, someone mentioned a chiropractor to me and I went. That afternoon I was out of my wrist protectors and within a couple of days I was back to normal. The chiro said that it had all come from my neck....Just another option to think about.
