If I needed any proof that the malic acid was working... I forgot to take it for the last 2 days. Today I was doing some light gardening and feeling VERY unmotivated. I was feeling better from my flare this morning, but this wasn't sore, it was feeling like I had to move mountains to get anywhere. After doing a bit and resting in between, I went adn pushed dd on the swings. Not 5 minutes later, I had to rest. Only then did I realize I had forgotten my supplements! So it wasn't psychological, it wasn't placebo, it wan't the weather turning cooler or the kids in school giving me a rest during the day. I am convinced beyond the shadow of a doubt it was the malic acid now. What I find really crazy is how I can forget how crappy I can feel when I'm not feeling well. I find it so easy to disregard what has been going on the last 5 months after a few good days, or how it feels to ache everywhere adn have no energy. Then when I do get in a flare, I'm always surprised!
Anyway, how do I stop from forgetting to take my meds? I have them on the counter (I only take malic acid with meals, calcium in the am, and amitriptyline pm), and I have a post it note on the fridge since my last time forgetting to take my amitrityline. Any tips?
