Hi, I've been gone most of the past week and will be for the next couple of weeks. My mom had a mild stroke on Tuesday and I had to go. I also will have to stay with her when she gets out of the hospital and then help drive her to Texas, where she'll be staying with my sister for the winter. Prayers for everything to go well are appreciated. Diane

Hi Diane,

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I think that it is wonderful that you are able to be there for your mom. And I am glad that she has your aunt to stay with for the winter. That will ease your mind some.

Thinking of you,

Best wishes,

Hugs, Karen

Diane, you and your family are on my prayer list.  Your Mom should be fine...especially since this wasn't a bad stroke.  Let us know how everything went  when you get back home.

Oh yes, I know your mom will recover both quickly and well. Mild strokes allow for that.

Have a safe trip and get back when you can. I am happy that your mom will be staying with your sister.

Take care,

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  I also heard "mild strokes" have a high recovery rate.
And..yes..take care of yourself too, stress is one of our biggest enemies for sure.
