This place is wonderful, we are always here for each other. Theres advice and info at the tip of your fingers! And if you ever need to vent, we're here to listen!

Try looking at the Fibro 101, it has tons of great info. Or if you just need some support we can do that also!

Hi Nice to meet you!!
Since I'm new at all of this it might take me a while to figure it all out.
I'm only going to be around for a little while today.
As for me... Long story, but I'm finally accepting that I'm a victim of fibro so I've got a long road ahead.

Thanks GamJill,
I'm looking forward to being a part of the group. I'll need to figure out how to list all of the stuff ie; fibro, depression, etc.
I haven't had much time online since I signed up, but I will soon.
Be well,

pattipanda (Great name, BTW wink ),
Welcome to the fibro family.  This is a great site to come to get info, ask questions, vent, and make some true friends.  Unlike a few other fibro sites, 99.9% of the time we all get along, and even if we may not agree with someone, we still try to respect each other.  One of the great things about this family is that we are all different ages, so you can always find someone to relate to (although, most of the teens are more mature than I am! smilewinkgrin ).  However, I've noticed that there are quite a few of us from Illinois & Washington state.  I wonder what that means? smhair
Anyway, we welcome you with open arms (wait a second, it might take a second to get out painful arms up...OW!).  See?  We care so much, we'll literally hurt for each other. smilewinkgrin
Again, welcome.  I hope you'll feel comfortable here! tongue
FINALLY dxd with fibro on 06/13/08
Vicodin, Neurontin, Ibuprofen for pain-which doesn't help, BTW
Zoloft & methadone (NOT for pain) for sanity-which doesn't help, BTW
Klonopin for anxiety (Guess what?  Doesn't help!)
Chantix (quit smoking 08/29/08)

How sweet!!!  Thanks Kelly!!  What a wonderful welcome!!
I'm from Indiana... so that's right next door to Ill.  Interesting there's so many that are from the same neck of the woods.
Love the welcome with hugs and open arms... No matter how much I hurt I NEVER give up on a hug!! (I'm known as a big hugger.. but I'd rather hug someone than shake their germy hand... When I catch a cold it always gets blown WAY out of proportion.. but I'm sure everyone here can relate to that!! )
I got the name PattiPanda long long ago.. but I do love Pandas!!  They're a little like me... Rollie pollie... a with big dark circles under their eyes .. but everyone loves those circles ( at least on the Pandas.. heheheh)
I am REALLY excited about finding this place... I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning as much as I can about our commonalities with Fibro and life in general.
Again thanks for the wonderful warm welcomes... everyone has been so nice!!  It feels good to have found a place where we all share the same issues.
