I haven't written for ages but just wanted to update everyone and let you all know that I FINALLY have reached my rheumy appt date...it's tomorrow at 9am!!!  I have been waiting since the middle of November....and it's been a long, hard wait!!!!  Still having lots of sx. muscle pain, joint pain...especially in my knee's and elbows which is steadily getting worse, night sweats, low grade temps, headaches, and still have the rash on my palms.  The sx just seem to be getting worse and worse...I have been averaging 2 vicodin a day just to make it thru the day.  I know I probably won't get a definite answer tomorrow...but at least the ball will get rolling.  I'm hoping he will repeat my ANA as I had one done by my reg doc in December..it came back in the high range of normal.  I still wonder a lot about lupus..especially since my joint pain is steadily getting worse and has now settled into certain joints rather than bouncing around from joint to joint like it was.
I had an accident a few weeks ago and the pain has been much worse since then..not sure if it's from the accident itself or the stress of the accident.  I was heading to drop my son off at my M-I-L's and we hit a 10 pt. buck.  Totaled my car...completely broke out my drivers window, smashed the windshield, etc. It was sooo scary....but thank God my little guy wasn't hurt!!!  I had a bloody nose and a few cuts but was otherwise fine.
Anywho..I better run...just wanted to update everyone...I will update again after my appt. Thanks for listening!!!

Great! You finally are seeing a Rheumy! You're right, now the ball will get rolling! It might be awhile before you get an answer, but in the meantime he will maybe start you on meds to relieve your pain.

I hit a large doe last year on the way back from visiting my mother. I was driving my husband's truck and did about $4000.00  damage. (They said if I had been driving my suv, it would have been totaled).

I am very nervous now when driving by anywhere with alot of trees. I just can't shake the feeling yet. I'm glad you were all o.k.

Good luck tomorrow and let us know!
Hugs!!  Margie

Good luck and godspeed for your appointment today. I think having your ANA redone is a great idea. I had mine drawn every three months until it got low enough to do it every 6 months, and now we do it once a year. Let us know how it goes!
