I have not posted since around christmas time. It has been really crazy here alot going. Both kids had the flu. I had a major flare. We had to have our dog put down. She would be 12 Valentines Day.. My 13 year old daughter has started with what the DR.s seem to think are Migraines. She has issues with  her eyes to begin with  (A nerve issue) We have been to the eye center 5 times in the last 2 weeks. She has not been allowed to play basket ball and its drivivng her crazy. In return you know its driving me crazy.  We got the migraine diagnosis yesterday and she can get back to normal.I finally got to see the new rhuematoligist mind you it was after the flare, I thought I was doing well She said I had 18 out of 18 points. She started me on amitriptylen (spelling). No more lyrica..Did a full blood work up she actually called and left a message that there was nothing of surprise and we will discuss it in 3 weeks when I go back in. Did I mention that when I had the blood work done It was the worst experience I am a hard to find stick. She only stuck me 1 time I thoughr wow she is good even though It hurt worse than any other time she was fast too. When she took the needle out it bled for a long time and hurt like crazy. @ hours later And 5 days later I have a bruise that is 4 inches long and 4 inches wide yes wider than the inner part of my elbow. My mom said that she probally went all the way threw the vein. I dont know what happened  But it hurt. Hubby and daughter are at 76ers game
Son and I are watching flyers game yes we are a sports family. I have missed checking in reading post and posting. especially the daily check in (especially the ones about naturalist ) hehehe
I hope everyone is well and Happy

Welcome back Lee Ann.  I've been kind of absent too.  What about the naturalist check in - I will have to go read that one!

Hi LeeAnn,

It is great to have you back. I am happy that you got a dx on your daughter's migraines, I know that they can be hard to live with.

I am sorry to hear about your dog. I have two and they are both older. So I know that day will be coming for me too. But I believe in doggy heaven so that is my way of coping. My dogs are big and after they go, if I get another dog, I want a smaller one. They live a lot longer.

I hope that you are haveing a wonderful day LeeAnn. Free of pain and full of energy.

Hugs, Karen

I'm glad things have gotten calmer Lee Ann. Your post reminded me of the winter I spent in the house with three boys having chicken pox one every two weeks. I'm sorry your daughter has migraines. I'm also sorry about your dog, I know how hard that is. Maybe you can get a puppy, I know Krissy has sure helped with the loss of Brandy.
luv and hugs

Welcome back, LeeAnn!  You really have had a rough time, haven't you?!!  I'm sorry about the loss of your dog.  They are so wonderful.  I know I can't live without one.  When the time is right I'm sure you'll find another perfect friend.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
