Hi Guys,
I saw my ID doc and he gave me some of this chinese herb oxymatrin to try confused ..said it will help to level my immune system out(maybe).  He said my FM was brought on by a virus even though he still wants to biopsy my stomach, first I have to get my results of my endoscopy I had gotten done over a year ago with my PCP, I can't remember if they biopsied then.  He said it sounds like I have been fighting this for more like 10 years than 4.  shocked He thinks the virus may be present in my tummy.  I bet this sounds stupid but I am not good at translating what exactly he or they(docs) said at their office.
I am at work now so I can't type to long, but if anyone has tried or has heard of this stuff I sure would appreciate some info bites.  I found a website on chinese herbs....wasn't real thorough for me.  The box I got from him is all written in chinese.
Thanx in advance.

Hey Binki...Myself?  I wouldn't try to take anything that I didn't know what was in it.  I had a friend that gave me some mysterious leaf to suck on when I had a sore throat and it made my entire mouth itch and burn for about 6 hours. If your doc can explain what it is and it all sounds benign and harmless...try it, but if it was me?  I wouldn't put anything in my body again unless I was informed of all the ingredients and side effects.  You know us fibro-mites...we are sensitvie to everything!

fibro, menieres disease, RLS, anxiety disorder, disc compression, scoliosis, spinal stenosis TMJ  Meds: Lexapro and valium
