Hi my fibro siblings skull nono ( called an hour before she was supposed to be there)saying that she couldn't get out of her driveway even though she had said before that her hubby could always bring her.  If it wasn't for a lack of nurses out here in the boonies that gal would be gone.  Then Barbs nieghbor bailed eyes nono on her for watching the older kids as there turned out to be no school and all she agreed to was to watch them after school(but I am glad to watch them this time as her nieghbors house is a complete pig whole I am talking filthy!! smhair   So anyway Barb finally got here with the kids and even though the potty probs and throwing up are gone I am still wiped out but the kids were pretty good yeah    I watched the kids at my moms and was met with a pretty messy apartment since I hadn't been there since Saturday but omggggg she hadn't even done dishes since then so I had to clean up before I could even feed the kids.  And omgggggg the energy these kids have!!! yeah   yeah   yeah   finally had them all line up and take turns jumping off my mom's old school high chair just to burn some of that energy up!!!  it's amazing how much fun they had just trying to out do each other on how far they could jump turn    At least they are still young enough to go for that sort of stuff lol.  I had them all in their jammies and ready to go when Barb came to get them so all they had to do was watch some TV and go to bed once they got home.
I am gearing up for the 5 days I will spend at Barbs when she has her surgery so yes I did agree to come.  Barb said just do what I can and her hubby can do anything heavy but I will be shocked if he comes through with that.  I will focus on taking care of the kids and at least keeping them in clean clothes and Barb already made and froze dinners for me to heat.  At least she has a dish washer so I will be making good use of that and with Jakob being 8 and Lauren 7 they can help gramma out with some chores too.  I will be ok on pain meds as I have set a few aside for bad days so just praying for no flares skull shocked and am taking it easy here this week.
Jayson was wonderful while I was sick turn    He did all the dishes and he vacuumed the wholeeeee house and waited on me even though I didn't require much just stayed warm in my chair.  I felt bad the second day because Jay came upstairs to check on me late morning and said I made coffee for you turn not thinking that my tummy couldn't take it and he kinda kicked himself for not thinking first but I told him it was very sweet.  Monday night I finally got some sleep as I had only got 3 or 4 hours tops each night the days before.  But I made sure I didn't skip any meds and took extra melatonin and finally slept from midnight till 11 am!!! it felt so good and I got some energy back.
Now if I could just kick my mom's butt into gear and get her back on track with taking care of herself nono    She got off track with this leg infection which BTW she got from not resting her legs or walking!!! and now she is back to her old funk ways.  I had gone shopping for mom on Saturday and got the wrong kind of apple sauce(even though she didn't ask for any certain kind when I made out the shopping list but she swears she told me no extra sugar smhair  ) and I told her I was not going to take it back, that she could get off her duff and do it on Sunday as it was going to be a nice day.  Well here it is Thursday and there the apple sauce still sits with my mom doing her usual of saying " oh I know I need to go walking and I was going to but blah blah blah" the list goes on and on and she is making me nuts with worry as she is prone to blood clots and I just got done giving her injections of blood thinner daily for 5 days to keep that from happening.  And I offer to walk with her any day she wants!!  I am just going to have to go over there and make her get dressed.  But I know in my heart that she would probably tell me to mind my own business and leave her alone.  Even though her health is my business cause when she gets sick or hurt I have to take care of her!!! grrrrrrrrrrr sorry just venting blush .
Anyway's just wanted to let you guys know what my decision was on going to my daughters(you guys knew I would buckle confused  ) but at least its more on my terms now and how things were going with me.  Oh and I got my mammogram!!!!!!!!! ya me!!!!!! yeah shocked turn finally my doctor will be shocked lol and omgggggggg I went yesterday and my chest is covered in bruises!!!!!! I was having trouble with tons of Costa pain before I went but now owieeeeeeeeee smhair   smhair   smhair Everyone take care and praying for low pain days for all.

Karen, you should know we support your decision to help your daughters family, and I am proud of you for being dedicated to your family's health and well being. Sometimes there are things we don't want to do but agree to, if we believe it is for the best. That being said, your responsibility here is to take care of yourself. I don't mean a passive care, I mean a deliberate standard of care for youself. Sleep, nutrition, saying NO when its needed. We are going to count on you to treat yourself kindly and smartly [is that a word LOL] and you can count on us to be here for you whenever you need anything. Way to go, grandma! Hey- and one last thing- you have my permission to treat the son-in-law like a child when he behaves like one :) When the kids are helpful, use that as 'motivation' to the man- if the kids can do it, so can he. Peace!

I am so happy that you are feeling better. Best wishes with helping your daughter and sil. I hope that you don't over do it, though I know that you probably will. Try the best that you can to sneak in some YOU time.

Best wishes for a wonderful day,
