Hi again.  I need to vent a little what a week.  My daughter brought home lice.  Being senstive to smell I had to spread mayo all over my head.  Can't stand to be by her head with the nix.  Then the up and down with washing and vacuuming everyday.  My other daughter which is autisic is senstive to hair combing just picture the screaming.  Then to top things off my furnace went down and we where out heat for two days and my husband came down with a stomach flu.  This stress landed me in the doctors with my left arm tingling.  Now days later my left elbow and down are killing.  Feel like I can't make it up and down the steps.  I just want to sleep I feel like crap and very achey.  sad    thanks for listening.

Man, Anne you did have a horrible week!!  I don't blame you for feeling so crummy.

My son had lice once (he's 29 now and would kill me if he knew I told anyone, let alone having it on the internet for the rest of time.. LOL) it was awful and a ton of work, cleaning sheets, towels, clothes, vacuuming vacuuming and vacuuming some more.

Then to have all of the other crap, WOW!!

Sorry you had a rough time and hope things get better really soon.. Heck, maybe you should go out and buy a lottery ticket, things can only get better. wink

I used to be a kindergarten teacher, and I lived in mortal fear of bringing home lice because of the intensive labor it takes to get rid of the little buggers.  I'm so sorry you've had to do this.  You must just be utterly and completely exhausted.
I hope the rest of your week goes better.

Anne, This sounds like one of those weeks that if you don't laugh you will scream hysterically while running down the street with your hands waving above your head. I hope you feel better soon. All this stress can certainly make you flare. I think alittle TLC will help. Once the kids are in bed take a warm bath or shower & then snuggle down to read a good book. Hugs, Denise

Anne, my kids brought home head lice this last summer (I never had them as a child so this was mine and my kids first time) and it was horrible. I didint know that lice could make you feel like you have the flu, so now every time my head itches just a little I freak out. But just so you know, we tried the mayo thing and it didnt work, til I read somewhere onine about virgin olive oil, and it really worked!!! Also ALOT of picking out the eggs one by one, it took a couple of weeks (because kids dont like to sit still long) of picking out the nits one by one in a very lighted area outside. My daughter had hundred's of louse, everytime I combed through, the comb was covered in them, and me and her had thousands of eggs, it wasnt a very fun summer, so I feel for ya.
