I have such a problem with bloating. After dinner, I easily look 7 mths pregnant. It was nothing for me to gain 2 inches around my belly between morning and bedtime. I was tired of clothes not fitting well. Also, I had some problem with bm's, making sure that there was a washroom after meals. I could do without if I had to, but much more comfortable. I did adjust to the malic acid, but it affected me sometimes more than others.

So I thought, what have I got to lose? I tried the Activia yogurt. After a couple days, I was almost ready to give up. I had lots of gas, extra bloat, cramps, diarrhea (sorry if TMI). But as my body adjusted, the side effects went away. I now rarely bloat! I still have a round belly, but I can live with that. I used to have people ask me when I was due... I wasn't exaggerating... and now I don't look pregnant anymore :) And even my bms have regulated to once a day, adn I don't even have to rush.

I think this is like the malic acid, it's not for everyone. But I wanted to share my good experience in case you also had a problem with bloat (I know many of us have issues with IBS) and were looking at trying something.

Have a wonderful day, no matter where you are, hugs!

Well, I started eating Activia the same day I read about your experience with it.  I eat one container a day.  It sure has helped me.  My tummy is not so bloated now and I have not had the cramping I was getting sometimes.  Thanks for sharing the info.
