Hi all you super smart people ! Anyone have a great Rheumy who's really interested in fibromyalgia, involved in or just very into any research about it ? It remains such a mysterious disease, like are we born with and it just takes time for it to enter our lives ? Why does it present different sets of symptoms or areas for a while and then they seem to log off and then others that we may not have had for awhile step in ? And is there anyway to know what to look for in our children ? All we do right now is treat the symptoms because they don't know the root cause. Just wondering if anyone has a Rheumy. that excels in knowledge ? thanks...

Hey Spicey! Sure do wish I still had my rheumy -- he worked at the Indian hospital here where I get my health care. He was really interested in fibro, but he left several years ago -- took his whole family somewhere in Africa to help some of the villages. Was supposed to return but loved it too much over there and stayed. Have had the same internist for the time since then, and she's great but not so specialized. Guess this really isn't at all what you asked about! Fibro fog is pretty bad tonight -- as if you couldn't tell LOL -- and I just wrote what was in my poor brain. Started to not even post and then decided it might be good for a laugh for somebody.......or not LOL!
Luv ya and (((hugs)))
