Hi Karen,
I saw in another post that you started working again and I did not want to hijack that post, but I did want to say Congrats!
I hope it is just what you're looking for and then some. They are very lucky to have you there, and you can tell them I said so. wink
Are you working full or part-time? I wish you all the luck in the world. You are a good lady and you deserve good things coming your way! I hope you have off this weekend to regroup. Let us know how you are doing AND pls take care of yourself.
God bless.  Alice.

Hi Alice,

So good so far, but finding it is hard on me. I am on my feet for 8 1/2 hours straight and I don't think my fibro is going to let me do this. But at least I tried.

It is a convenience store and you don't even get a lunch. Which I know is against the law. But you can take breaks whenever you get a chance. lol... That isn't that often.

At the end you have all this paper work, that I don't understand. This old brain just isn't picking things up. lol... But I am going to keep trying for a while. If I can't do it, I can always quit.

Thanks for your concern Alice. That really makes me feel good. I hope that you have a good day my friend.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen

Karen; don't get discouraged. 8.5 hours is a lot to attempt, like zero to sixty in no seconds flat. I recently applied for a babysitting job 2.5 days a week. I may not get it, but hey, I'm still trying.

Karen, Wow! 8 1/2 hrs a day on your feet, and then the paperwork. That is a tough schedule. You're right, try it and see how you do, if it's too much you can quit. I give you a lot of credit for going out there and trying. Either way you deserve a big (and gentle) pat on the back. When you feel up to it, let us know how you are doing. All good wishes coming to you, my friend.
Tyno, how old is the child/children you would be watching? Would the schedule change once school lets out or is it steady?  I hope it works out for you. It could be fun, certainly not boring. Wishing the best for you.
God bless.  Alice.

Hi Karen- I have thought about you. Working again, and that is a long time on your feet! I wish you the best, and I know you will figure this out if your body can take this or not.
