Girls and guys, I have missed you all so much, but have been so busy I haven't had much time to check in.
When we had the big ice storm back in January, it left us having 9 make-up days.  For the past three Saturdays I have even had to go to school, although it was without kids.  We still had to sit through 7 hours of professional develpment each Saturday.
I don't know if I'm in a flare or if I have just sit too long, but my back and shoulders are killing me.
Last year we had planned on going to Florida the second week in June, but our dear friend that we always travel with is dying with bone cancer and I'm afraid he won't even be here in two weeks.
It is so sad to see a friend just waste away.  We have been on so many great vacations with him and his wife.
Please remember him in prayer.
On a brighter note, I'm so glad to be free again.  The day is beautiful and I have so much to be thankful for.  The pain I feel in my shoulders is nothing to compare to what I read about on this forum.
May God bless each and everyone of you.
I love you and enjoy reading about you.

Of all the things that I have lost, I miss my mind the most!!!!

Hi, Shannon!  It's great seeing you again.  We do miss you when you aren't around.  I love that positive attitude of yours.
I'm so sorry about  your friend and will say a prayer for him.  It is hard watching your friends pass on.  But, you do have many wonderful memories to think of in the future.
I hope your shoulders and neck get better.  They should now that you can move around.  I know if I sit too long, that's when my shoulders and neck start really aching.  Some stretching and a little heat will help you out.
Well, don't be a stranger!

Hi Shannon- I don't know how you do it sometimes! If I had your schedule, I would have more than neck and shoulder pain! Yay, for summer vacation!  tongue

Sorry to hear about your friend. My mother died from cancer and we watched her waste away for a year- it was a nightmare. There is nothing worse.

Enjoy your time off and do some things for yourself! You deserve it!
