Hi, Boo, so glad you found us. This is such a good place to come and share. The ppl here are especially nice, always a kind word and caring hearts. This is a FAMILY, in the nicest sense of the word.
Pls look on the top of the page for Fibro 101, there is a lot of very helpful info on various aspects of Fibro. Several of our members compiled it. It is nice to have a lot of info located in one area. Ask ??? and join in as much as you can, we look forward to getting to know you, also!
Hope today is a good day for you.
God bless.  Alice.

Hi boo and welcome to the family!!!

It was a blessing for me when I found this wonderful group. They no only knew what I was experiencing with pain but of my feelings learning to live with this miserable disorder. It makes each day so much easier and more enjoyable to live. No matter how much someone loves you they just can't totally 'get it' without experiencing fibro. But we do!

Come join our Chat Nights on Thursdays...6 PM Pacific/9 PM Eastern. Plus we have a daily Koffee Klatch for a spot of fun each day. We need to remember that we are the same on the inside with the same needs as others...especially the need to laughter and fun. That's what the Koffee Klatch is all about.

Hope to see you there...

Thanks for the posts and i hope to make the chats if i can navigate my way to them, i'm a bit of technically challenged
fibro 101 was very good and i cant believe that article from the new york times.....i wish arrogant people like him could walk a mile in our shoes.
Loiuse L Hay says that fibro is fear and anxiety manifesting physically. If that were the case then wouldn't treating anxiety be the answer. I only get depressed, as i'm sure many others do because it's difficult to deal with.
I saw a doctor last month who asked me did I really think it existed, then sent me on a wild goose chase to specialists and wasting time and money to prove himself wrong in the end.
I saw a top professor in the field of endocrinology ( as i'm also going thru primary infertility ).
He said, fibro absolutely exists and doctors like the one who referred me need to re educate themselves. He then sent the gp a letter confirming his words.
It felt great not to have another doctor questioning my sanity and physical problems.

Hi boo and welcome to the family. I'm glad you found us. I keep wishing I had evil powers to use on people that don't believe fibro is real. devil They would be whistling a different tune real quick. I'm glad you found docs that do believe in it.
We are here for you.
luv and hugs
