Posted 7/13/2009 6:45 AM (GMT -7) sons, wives and grandchildren have been here for over a week and just left.  I had a wonderful time despite a trip to a park called Chimney Bluff one day.  My one son who lives locally said it was only a half mile to the top, where these beautiful carved stone formations overlook Lake Ontario.  'Chimney' is the operative word here...the trial is all up hill.  I made it to the first bluff after an hour of crawling over fallen trees and jumping over sink holes.  It took over an hour and I kept thinking this is the longest half mile I have ever walked.  Anyway, two of my grand daughters are three and five and they couldn't go any farther even though there were three more bluffs to see.  So we turned around and headed back to the car and the rest continued.  When I got to the bottom, I found a map of the trail in front of the rest room.  It was NOT a half mile to the first was over two miles.  My feet were numb and the pain in my hip and leg have not cut me a break since.  I have even tried Sherrine's medicinal rum...drank it and rubbed it all over my leg...LOL!  No relief.  But it was worth it because I only see the girls about twice a year due to distance.  I didn't even have a fibro fog moment, until this morning.  I got up, made myself a cup of tea and took my Lexapro. Went to the kitchen for a bite to eat, made myself another cup of tea and took another Lexapro.  I just looked on the counter and there is yet another pill on the counter.  I think I only took two.
Anyway, since I am speeding my brains out I am offering to clean your house as I have done mine twice already.  I don't do windows or ovens and because of my hips I can't vacuum but I will wrap myself in a towel and roll all over your floors.  I can hop on one foot and do dishes.  Watch me fold a basket of clothes in thirty seconds or less.  This offer expires at midnight but if you order me within the next ten mintues I will knock all those dust catching knick knacks off your shelves with a broom handle, as an extra bonus.  I am here, for you my friends...just hide your good seems I am really attracked to shiny things at the moment.
Geez...I think I just saw Elvis.

Well great on the climb. Glad you got to see your grand daughters.

You can come clean my house. LOL All I mostly need is someone to orginise (SP) me.

We went out yesterday and did some walking around a petting zoo, which was great but I'm paying for it too and thank God there were no hills. Although it's mostly my hands and shoulders I think it has to due woth the weather.

Hope you come down soon, please take care on how much meds. you take and pass me a couple of those.

DX Fibro 12/31/07   Guess I can put the rest dx

Donna! I was just wondering where you were...The hike sounds like an adventure, though maybe not the good kind. Hopefully you were able to get some good quality, non physically painful time in with your grandchildren..and hopefully your Lexapro buzz wears off soon!

Hmmm, I wonder if celexa will do that for me, I need a jolt of something??? rolleyes Do you have a large life ins policy in your sons names??? turn I forget if I have or haven't taken tylenol all the time. My other meds I put in little pill thingies with the day of the week on them so I will know if I have taken them or not, if I didn't do that I would be driving myself crazier trying to remember all the time.
You can clean my house if I can wet your towel and spray 409 all over it so you can twirl around my walls and stuff and clean them. Can you fit around toilets???
I'm glad you had a good visit with your granddaughters.
luv and hugs

Grand daughters, sigh. Well, maybe one day when I am in my 60s or 70s.

Anyway, I think you need to extend your offer to about 48 hours. That way you will have time to drive to the airport. Fly, change flights and end up in Seattle by Midnight tomorrow. I will let you sleep off your jet lag and then you can get to work.
I want to be able to eat off of the floors and have those huge dust bunnies sent to the dump.

Oh, I do need organization. I will close my eyes so that I do not cringe when you get rid of stuff I have not used in 3 years, honest. Then you can arrange everything so that my next move will go smoothly.

I really do need you Donna but now that I think about it, I would prefer to go on a cruise with you and let the staff pamper us. YOu are probably a lot nicer when you do not have to clean.

Glad you had fun hiking that 1/2 mile. When I was in Western NY we climbed parts of the Appalachian trail. I would say there is no such thing as 1/2 mile up in New York State.

Marlee, please let me know if extra Celexa works.

Yours truly, Donnaeil

I swear my carpet was the child of velcro. Everything stuck to it! We used to clean it with a lint roller ... an industrial sized one the size of a paint roller :D
