Do any of you use blogs to write, vent, complain, etc?

I have a recently started one and absolutely love it. It makes me feel so much better to be able to just get things out.

If you do have them, would anyone be willing to share so that we could all help each other out even more?

I'll start!

Feel free to add me as a friend there, or just pop in and say hello! :)

Hey Sara,

I think it is a great idea for you to have a blog. I agree that it is a useful tool for you to be able to get your thoughts and concerns "Out of your head". Also a good tool for fellow Fibromites so they can see that they are not alone in their adventure.
Good for you!

I'm not so sure about blogs being good for you.
I post things and my so-called friends just give me more negativity in return ...
this is not happyness-making!

Anyone want to share how one goes about starting a blog? I am not up with the newer communication forums; facebook, youtube, twitter, and so on.

tyno- u can try livejournal. its very easy, u just sign up and post something. if you dont know anyone who uses it then more than likely you wont have many people read your blog, but it really helps to get it out. Twitter is very easy. Just go to and sign up.. then you search people you want to follow.. there updates show up on your homepage and you can write updates all you want. It doesnt involve anything like codes or anything, its quite simple. Facebook is not too bad either. Once again, go to it and sign up. When you sign up you fill out your "profile" with your interests, books, music, movies, etc... and its automatically up. You can update pics if you want. Then, you can go to Find Friends and use email or you can just type in names of people and they show up.. you add people.. and when you go to their profile there is something called a "wall" and you can write on it.. its basically leaving them a public message that shows up on there wall.. On your homepage it will show your updates, you just type whatever you are thinking or whatever you want.. and it will also show the updates of your friends. You can comment there updates.. and it always lets you know when someone comments you or whatever... you can also use the IM feature at the bottom of the screen to talk to your friends that are online.

This is just the basics.. if you need help setting anything up, just email me and let me know what you need, I'll be glad to help you out! Take Care
