Hi I saw you have a scleroderma varient and you are also on savella.   Could you email me, I have some questions , especially about the sclero. My doctor had originally said that he thought it is scleroderma.    But nothing is coming up on blood tests.  But I have these spots on my and lumps under my skin and no one seems to be able to tell me anything. I have tried being a sclero forum but no one explains anything.    The spots start out as kind of red spots and have a  crusty top to them.  Then they turn brown but still have the crusty top, but then then grow larger gradually.  The new doctor I am seeing said it's some sort of immune thing, but he didn't even look at them.  The lumps under my skin can hurt sometimes.  But they have spread over the last 6 years.   But I did have a biopsy of the one under my skin and they said it's som sort of fatty thing.  But why are they there.  I don't trust the doctors around here.  My family doctor said the doctors here in Lancaster county PA do not have the education to deal with autoimmune diseases.   None of them seem to want to walk through this with me.   So I have been doing my own research and things for natural.  My insurance won't pay for some of the new meds he wanted to put me on.    And everything seemed to break out after we had a trip to Dominican Republic.   After a couple of years of dealing with the unknown they tell me I have fibro.  They were tired of dealing with me, it was clear.   But if you could email me and maybe I could hear your story about your illness(s).   The sclero varient got my attention.   I am 52 and my family thinks it's all from hormones changing.   Like Vestbula said, it's a shame how family can't see it, so they don't think it's really there, (not the exact words she said, but you get my point)
thank you

Deb, I took out your email address.  Anyone throughtout the world who are lurking can get your address if you post it in the thread and that could spell trouble for you.  You do have your email address in your profile so Crazy Kitty will be able to contact you.

When I was trying to find the answer to what was wrong with me, I found this site. Go here and see if this sounds like what you may have?? It sounds very close to what you are describing to me.
