My daughter got a portion of her results back, the MRI showed no MS< thank the Lord! The doc said he wanted the MRI to check for MS "among other things" but haven't really heard what the other things are & if anything else showed up.  Only talked to nurse.  The EEG had to be sent out of state to a Ped Hosp to read it.  Not back yet.  Her coordination seems a little worse, she starts school Monday & it sort of worries me.  She's almost off the cymbalta so hopefully the coordination will improve.

I'm very glad to here she does not have MS! I couldn't take the Cymbalta because of the same side effects. "They" tell you that the side effects will go away in a week or two but for the hoped-for relief I wasn't about to be living my life in a stupor for that long. Two days was 2 too much for me. Same with Lyrica.

It's heartbreaking so see our children hurting or suffering especially when we feel so helpless. I pray that your daughter gets some good news soon and also some relief. And for mom...prayers for your peace and faith that she will be OK. I am always amazed what youngsters are capable of when they have to. When I was teaching college there were so many young men who were married with a baby and wife to support and they worked 1 or 2 jobs plus went to school. I have no idea how but I admired them totally. Your daughter is probably stronger than any of us would give her credit for....but it's still hard.

Play fair. Don't hit people. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.

I'm so glad she doesn't have MS, too!  You are doing the right things and they will get to the bottom of this.  It's just tough not knowing what is causing this...and also this is your child.  That makes it ten times worse.  Keep letting us know what you find out!
