I have been reading a lot about magnesium calcium and potasium and how they can reduce muscle pain. I have found a pill that contains all three. I have been taking as directed for two weeks and have not noticed any thing yet. I have also been taking vitiman D for the calcium absorbation. 250 mg of calcium, 250mg of magnesium, and 99mg potasium. I have also been taking 2 malic acid tablets along with this. Do you need to let this build up for a while before it helps or should it help right away?

dpends on how much you are taking. I can tell you that 305 mg of magnesium, gives me gas quite badly- but it does help me calm.

I take malic acid/magnesium supplements along with calcium and lots of vitamin D3.  It does help me with my pain and fatigue.

Check out the Fibro 101 thread...the first thread on the forum.  There is a link in there all about malic acid/magnesium supplements, how you should start out taking them, and how they work in the body.  There is a second link about vitamin D, too.  These links could answer your questions.

I'm glad you joined in and I hope to hear more from you soon.
