Thanks Beautymom.  You suggested cinnamon to me to help lower my cholesterol.  I have been reading about this and decided to give it a try.  Starting today I'm putting it in my oatmeal.  It's something I like and you don't have to use a lot.  Plus, it will make the oatmeal taste better :-)

Hmmm....I drink several cups of Cinnamon Stick tea by Bigelow every day.  I wonder if that is one of the reasons my cholesterol is in great shape?  Also, I've seen cinnamon capsules, too.

I have to tell you my oatmeal tastes a lot better with the cinnamon in it.  I'm a big sugar addict and I would put tablespoons of sugar on the oatmeal.  Unfortunately my love of sugar has made my triglycerides go out of range, so now only 2 tsp of sugar and lots of cinnamon makes the oatmeal o.k.  In fact I plan to try it without sugar eventually.
