So, my EGD is Tuesday. My mom is going to be helping me out. I am grateful that she is, but now I have to super clean my house and car. I don't want to have to hear about how I really need to keep my house clean and how if I don't then someone could call CPS and they would take my son away. I really hate it when she does that. So, I have to clean my house. It's not a total wreck, but it is a fairly big job, at least for me. I am enlisting my hubby's help. He thinks it is ridiculous, but I would rather have the house clean and not hear my mom gripe than have it the way it is now and hear about it for the entire day. I just am pretty darn stressed about the whole thing. I have to clean the house, and then on Tuesday I have my procedure, and I have a feeling I will be pretty out of it for a while because of the sedative.

Hi Sassy, Sorry you are upset

Your mom is coming to help, let her! If you try to do too much, you are only going to hurt
more and will add to the stress you already have. You are the one who needs the rest!!!

Don't let your mom stress you. You know you are a great mom to Alex, and nobody is
going to come take him. If your mom starts making comments that are hurtful, let her
know how you feel. Sassy, you have been through alot of change lately and change is
stressful in itself. Take care of yourself, and I believe you are going to get through your
EGD just fine. Sending prayers your way!

Thanks Robin. I really appreciate the encouragment. I know that I can't do a lot, and that I need to rest, but there are some things around here that do really need done. I have just put off doing them because I haven't felt the best, and I have been really busy with other things.
I'm not concerned about the EGD. I know it isn't a huge deal. I just hope they can figure out what is wrong with me, because I am really sick of feeling this way along with the fibro. So, I hope the EGD turns up something that can be fixed.

'cause it's all you can take.
On your knees you look up
decide you've had enough.
You get mad.
You get strong.
Wipe your hands
shake it off.
Then you stand.

Sassy, come look at my house and I'm sure it will make you feel better about your's. smilewinkgrin The weather is nice right now and we know it's not going to stay that way so we have all winter to clean house. Get out there and enjoy Alex. I spent most of my life stressing over my house and for what??? If your mom doesn't like it show her where the cleaning supplies are. Please don't live your life based on someone else's standards.
luv and hugs
