I don't know if you remember a posting about two months back.  I said things are pretty awful with my daughter and I didn't want to talk about it on the Internet.  It got a little worse about a month ago.  Then today she got married.  Not the best idea, in my opinion.  But what can I do?  On top of that, I forgot to take my meds two days in a row because I got out of the habit when I was sick with the flu.  Today was stressful and I am now flaring - hurts to lift my arm to the table to type.  On a good note, I do get my nice and quiet office with the goldfish back.

Hi Sue!

I sure hope you start feeling better. I hate to see you in such pain and being 'down' and worried about a child. No matter how old they get we still worry. And from my experience, the worrying and problems, if they care to share them, only get larger and with much more long lasting consequences.

Please, please!!! take care of YOU. Some how our kids take care of their problems no matter how messed up they become. I've been dealing emotionally with grandson who lives with us and some of his "growing pains" that I prefer not to talk about either. But when your body hurts and then your heart is ripping open it's mighty hard to remember that we need some TLC also.

Warm hugs!
Children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.

Sue, I'm sorry you aren't feeling great but with the stress and not taking your meds, that will happen.  I bet you will be feeling much better once the meds take hold again.  I know I kick myself when I forget to take my medication.

Still in extra pain. Unfortunately my life does not stop for a flare. And I do not know how to handle them yet. I took my meds two days in a row now, so hopefully that will help. I just got a heating pad and an adapter so I can use it in my car. woo hoo.

Yesterday I tried to turn the light off in the hallway. It has a two way switch where you can turn it off or on at either end of the hallway. I pressed the switch, but it was already down. I stood there looking at the brightly lit hallway thinking, "Oh, the light must already be off." It took a few seconds before I figure out to flip the switch up.
