I have thought over the last year that I might have fibro, but my symptoms have always seemed to be related to something else and as such have been passed by. I have Ulcerative Colitis and am on prednisone for that (am tapering off though), I've been pregnant for so long (18 months) that I've forgotten what it feels like to be normal. anyways, here's a list of my symptoms and I'd like to get some opinions before i ask one of my dr's about it. (I did read the Fibro 101)

1. frequent headaches
2. my muscles have become weaker, could have something to do with not exercising as much as I used to. but even standing for 2 minutes I feel like I have to sit or lay down before my legs give out.
3. I am exhausted all the time. I can sleep for 10 hours wake up do a few things and then I'm exhausted again and feel like i could sleep all afternoon. (been passed off as being pregnant, being on pred, and now taking care of an infant)
4. I have pain in my muscles. This is where I get confused the most. Someone could poke me and the initial poke won't hurt, but afterwards it kills with a burning pain. I am very sensitive to touch. I love getting my back scratched and sometimes I have to pick if I want to hurt afterwards or if the itch can wait, just so it doesn't hurt for an hour + afterwards. (been passed off as hormonal changes)
5. I've had a problem with my attention span. I really do feel like being in a fog all day. Someone can be talking to me and I'll have to have them repeat it because I didn't understand what they were saying. I hear all the words but my brain isn't putting together what it means. Make sense?
6. I have dyslexia while speaking, and have a very hard time coming up with words. I'll frequently forget the word for something.
7. I'm very stiff after waking up., no matter how much I stretch.
8. dizzy spells
9. eye sight has been getting fuzzier (passed off as prednisone related)
10. pelvic and abdominal pain (passed off as my U.C.)
11. symptoms of vulvodynia (just started after I gave birth)
12. my feet hurt no matter if I wear shoes or not. sometimes so much that I can't walk on them.

What do you guys think?

It sure does sound like fibromyalgia, and maybe being pregnant is adding to it to make it worse.  Hopefully after the birth of your baby you will feel better.  Did you make a mistake writing down your due date?  That is 11 months away.  November 10th that is.
I hope that you feel better.  All of us have been having a harder time lately, with winter coming and all.  We have had damp weather and cold, that is hard on me.
When you are in a flare, everything seems worse.  I think it all gets magnified to us.  So try to take things as they come, keep moving if you can.  The stretching is good, but be gentle.
Hugs, Karen

UC is autoimmune, have you had sed rate or crp tested? I have fibro, but I also have undiff spondylitis. Feet pain could be either, eyes? red? feel like sand or grit? iritis? if so then you need to be checked further, but you need to get those eyes checked by an opthomologist if you have other symptoms of iritis.
If you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you won't.
I may not do things like other people, but I get things done in my own way, in my own time.

thanks guys, I'll speak to my pcp about it next time I see her.

Karen, it's not a mistake I just never updated my profile. My daughter was born Oct 14th. :)

HI sgirl, your list of symptoms is list of symptoms too! Every single one. I have been having a terrible three weeks, having to stay home from work as well. For the past three weeks as we really settle into winter, I have a headache of some sort every day, and then just continue right down the list. It's a miserable flare and I've not been on in the past few nights due to intense finger pain.
