Happy Friday all~~

For those who celebrate this time of year I'm sure life is getting busy...I'm no exception. I used to be way out ahead of the game but any more I'm lucky if I have things done by Christmas Eve when we have family here to celebrate. What we DO need is that ME time we talk about, and even more so now. So, let's each make a promise to get the ME time in and tell what you are going to do to help you get through the holidays with a smile on your face.

OK, here goes...I promise I will get to bed earlier and not stay up late working on projects. By getting to bed earlier I will feel better the next day, and I know that. I just don't always listen to myself. Also, I promise to let others do more of the work for the dinner on Christmas Eve. I most often do 95% myself even tho I have offers of help. This year I will take the family up on their offers....Promise! And I promise to TRY and not get frustrated with hubby...and his one little flaw when it comes to gift giving. Probably best leave that one alone. But I will TRY! wink

Those are the things I promise to do just for ME to feel better over the holiday season. What will YOU promise to do to take the best care of yourself that you can? It's time for you to pamper yourself and even be a bit selfish.

Warm hugs,

ps...and the news is, Chutzie's going to take a few days vacation from posting the Koffee Klatch. When it returns on January 4th I will be posting it a bit later in the day. It will be more of an afternoon or late morning event. I hope it will still work fine for everyone. I have been staying up very late to post it so it's ready for everyone when they get up in the morning. But I need to get to bed earlier so I'm having to change the timing. Thanks for understanding!

I promise to take breaks in between all the work in getting ready for Christmas. This helps me so much. I get much more done, and I'm rested too.

I promise to let my hubby know-calmly-that I need some time to myself. I promise to TRY to not get angry when EVERYONE wants something from my hubby. I promise to take a relaxing bath, even if that means telling my hubby that he has to watch Alex no matter what people want from him.

I'll miss you, Mom. I hope you have a good vacation. Please remember that you need to take it easy. When you come on here crying, it makes me want to cry. You are such a wonderful person, and I love you.

I promise not to let the stress make me get edgy with people I love, or anyone for that matter.

I promise to TRY not to stress if things aren't perfect. That's the best I can do for now :)

I have no time for myself right now, but that's ok. I'll rest after the Christmas break. I will listen to my body and not over do it like last week though. I don't need to be down for the count right now! lol

i hope that everyone can make it to the holidays unscathed and healthy enough to enjoy your family and friends!

I have most of my Christmas stuff done.  I got smart this year and did it early.  But I have to work Christmas eve and Christmas day, afternoons.  I promise not to complain about that as I offered to begin with.  We will have Christmas with the grandchildren on another day so it will be like they have two Christmases.  That should be fun for them.
I hope that eveybody has a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and healthy New Year.
Hugs, Karen
