I have a bissel too and it works really good. My dil has a Dyson, but the bissel works just about
as well and is tons cheaper. But you do have to empty the canister a lot. But it really does get the hair up. I would check it out before you spend hundreds on the other one. Not saying that the Dyson isn't better, it probably is. But much more expensive. I had a huge german shepherd that shed like crazy. We had to put her down about
a month ago. We are still finding her hair that excaped into corners and under things. But when I find it, I feel like a part of her is still with me. I am getting a puppy in March and am so excited about
it. I am still bummed over the one that I lost. I had her for nine years and she was part of the family. I hope that you find a good vac. I am happy with mine, I think it was around 100.00. The Dyson's can run many more than that, but they look really sturdy.
Any way, I hope that this helps a little. Oh and my puppy will be another shepherd. I need that in my life so badly. I really miss Dharma.
