about a month ago I started taking VitaminD3, C, Calcium , not sure if it was a coincidence but I started feeling less aches and more energy, but my Crohns started flaring up so this weekend I quit taking them and was going to add back one at a time to see if any were bothering my guts but now I am getting the aches back and had to take a vicodin which i have not had to due for a few weeks  and feeling quite pokey.  Does anyone think vitamins are helpful with Firbro or is it just my imagination?

Many people find that vitamins help them with the aches and pains of fibro, especally Vit D.
I have ulcerative colitis so I also have to be careful with what I take for suppliments, herbs and meds.  I do ok with taking Vit. D in fact I was very low and my NP put me on suppliments for it.  I have had no trouble with it at all.  However, I really have to be careful with Vit C or I'll be running for the bathroom!  I've found that Ester C works well and doesn't seem to bother me.  Ester C is a type of Vit. C which is mfg'd to be gentle on the stomach and it absorbs well.  You can find it in health food, drug stores and some food stores.  I can only take Calcium that doesn't have too much Magnesium in it, or I get the runs.  Also the type of Magnesium makes a difference too.  Some kinds I can tolerate and some I can't.
Hope this helps.  I think you are smart to try each of the vitamins separately and give them a little time to see how they are effecting your body before starting another one.  I always try to do what with any vit. herbs or meds since my body is so sensitive.

I think vitamins help me with the fog and fatigue, especially.  I take prenatal vitamins (I am not pregnant, but they are the only multi vitamin I can find in a gel tab), C, D, Calcium and Magnesium, Fish Oil, CoQ10, and some other ones, maybe.  I cannot remember.  I got out of the habit of taking them when I ran out of multis a few weeks ago.  I just got back on them for 3 days and am already feeling more alert and less exhausted. 
Friday, I was just stupid at work.  I get fog, but not as bad as  Friday.  Today was much easier than even yesterday.
The vitamins do not help me with pain.

I ran out of my herbs about 2 weeks ago and today was the first time I was able to get to Syracuse
to restock. Needless to say I ended back on darvacet to kill the pain. I hadn't taken them in almost
2 months. The last time was when I got the flu and it kicked my butt. It's hard to believe that those
herbs do sooooo much for me. If you added up what the dr wanted me on it's about 5 times more
expensive than what I take to heal the damage instead of masking it. I just picked up Omega 3-6-9
today to mix with the Co Q-10 as my chest pains are coming back for the first time in years, sure
didn't miss them.
