What makes a good pizza? If you could order up a pizza made any way you want it with anything on it, what would it look and taste like.
I do love a good pizza once in a while. The frozen ones, or what we call cardboard pizzas, just don't make it for me. But we have a take out local pizza place around here that puts all of those chain places to shame. They do them exactly the way I like them. The crust is buttery flavor and thick with a light crust and a chewy texture. Then a flavorful tomato sauce but no too much. I don't like to bite into it and have it oozing out all over. Next is lots and lots of real Canadian bacon! <drool> and, you guessed it, pineapple. Some mozzarella cheese, some good cheddar, not the phony American cheese but something that's actually aged. Bake until the center is hot and bubbly, not over done, let it cool for about
10 minutes and dive in! I haven't had any for a long time but now that we're talking about
it we may just have to go get one soon.
