On another forum, one lady suggested Lindt chocolate for fibro pain.  She said it has helped her a LOT!  I Googled "chocolate and pain" and there was a good article on eating chocolate for pain.
Don't know if it helps or not, but sure would be tasty medicine!

Chocolate is supposed to boost endorphins so maybe that's why the theory is it can help with pain.  I love chocolate and the only thing it does is go directly to my thighs.  Boy...'if only'...

Chocolate makes me "feel good" but doesn't help with my pain if that makes any sense.
It has a calming affect on me. I never feel like I have a sugar buzzz going on when I
eat it. In fact I just finished a whole row of thin mint Girl Scout cookies and I'm a
happy camper!

That sounds like an article my wife would print out and leave lying around where I would find it tongue

OK, from now on this is my pain relief treatment. Everytime I feel even a slight pain, I'm going to eat some chocolate. I'll let you know how it works. LOL Diane

Hi James and welcome to the family.
I would have OD'd long ago too Libby. smilewinkgrin
I do get a calming affect from good chocolate but can't say it has ever helped the pain. If only it was that simple.
luv and hugs
