Oh, Angel, I'm sooo happy for you. It always pays to be up front with your doctors. You will have a good rapport now and can trust one another.
There are several members taking the medications your doctor gave you today. I'm sure they'll pop on and tell you how they are doing with them. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for another when it comes to fibromyalgia. I hope you lucked out and found what will let you control the pain. If not, keep looking. We all are on different things.
By the way, my doctor doesn't like to give out narcotics either and I've managed so far without them.
