Sorry, but I'm having a pity party this morning. I awoke with horrible pain. I have a
fibro and lupus flare dualing for attention. I feel one of my venting poems coming cry
Sarcastic, I Am
Someone has tied my muscles in knots
Oh it's fibromyalgia, I almost forgot
Look my joints are begining to swell
It's time for lupus to take me to hell
What could that be on my face
A cutaneous lesion leaving it's trace
Some people might say I'm sarcastic, I'm sure
But I'm the one who waits for a cure

Love it, Robin. I've got warring health problems myself today, so I totally get it. I'd like to join your pity party too, if I may. I'll bring the chocolate. :)

Hope you feel better soon.

So sorry you are hurting, Robin.  You have so much on your plate and are always there for us. Whenever I start feeling sorry for myself I look at your signature...you are an amazing woman.  Feel better, my friend.

Robin, I'm so sorry you have to deal with fibro and lupus and are hurting so badly. But I love your poem.
We are having another change in weather today, from sunny and almost 65 yesterday to 40 and rain is coming. I over did it yesterday as it is with vacuuming and mopping all the hard surface floors in the house and taking the girls for a little walk so that added to the weather it may be a little vicodin day for me too.
I've had my little heater on me all morning, even dry heat feels good to me. Krissy is laying right beside me and I don't know how she can stand it but she moves when she gets too hot.
I may have to clean my bathtub today and take a nice hot bath. That sounds like too much work so it will be a nice hot massage shower instead.
I alternate with getting up and doing some light things to sitting here on the computer and try to keep my mind off the pain the best I can.
Get better.
luv and hugs

Don't forget the chocolate :) hope you are feeling better/

Donna, Thanks hon, your good humor has helped me many times.

Marlee, you are always a big help. We had a big change over night in the weather too,
it probablly helped trigger this flare. feel better too and take it easy!

Upbeat, thanks...I always loved your display name it is so positive!

I have taken a long hot shower and a muscle relaxer, and am sitting with my bed buddie,
planning on watching some old movies. Enjoy you day!!!

Robin, I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.  You are a very strong woman and  your attitude is inspiring!  I loved your poem, too.  It's sarcastic, flippant....almost laughing in the face of adversity.  Yes, I'm praying for a cure for all of these things, too.  I do believe it will happen.  I hope you are feeling better this evening.

Thanks, Sherrine I'm feeling alot better than I did at 6:00 AM. Sometimes I get so
angry at these crazy disorders then I settle down and I'm OK. Thanks for taking
such good care of us fibromites!!!
